Alba Musik is a NYC-based songwriting/performing guitar/voice duo—featuring singer Bárbara Martínez and guitarist Albert Alabedra—that offers a new kind of flamenco. In just two years, the duo has released three albums and seven music videos, and have gained a beautiful following.

Originally from New York City and trained in the heart of Sevilla, La Magdalena is an award-winning dancer and teaching artist who brings the sights, sounds, and rhythms of Andalucía to the DMV. Based in Tenleytown, her school, Dance Flamenco DC, invites both young and adult learners to immerse themselves in the dynamic art of flamenco, bridging cultures and generations through the soul of Southern Spain.
